Hello and thanks for looking at my listing.I purchased this Bug from a friend who needed the cash to put down on a new car. Here is what I know about the car.My friend spent thousands on restoring this VW classic some 5 years or so ago. It looks great with the exception of a little rust that appears to be coming through in a couple of places. See pictures. Still it looks great. The floors were completely replaced during restoration. The motor was replaced with a higher performance one and maybe has 3000 miles on it since done. The interior is nearly perfect. The top is new. It starts right up and drives nicely. Transmission gear box seems to shift as it should with no grinding or vibration. Tires are real good. Lights, turn signals, and operation equipment all work good. brakes work as manual brakes do. This would make a great summer or beach car. Don't see many of these around and they are becoming more collectible each passing year. The engine is an 1835cc crate motor. So it has some upgrades over stock. Exhaust is still stock, not loud. Has a little more get up and go over stock motor.The only thing I can find wrong on this beetle is the small rust spots that are just starting to break through in a couple of places. Would not cost much to fix it if you were inclined to do so. I have taken pictures of the two places. Ladies love this car! It is priced to sell and the price is negotiable.Sold As is where is.
