1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:
Up for sale is a very rare Solid Original (not restored) Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible 1979 final edition VW Karmann. The car is very very attractive and has a very nice original color and turns heads whenever you go...Very rare color, It has never been in accident. The car is completely original except for the new interior, new convertible top, new tires and new battery, 2 owners and always garaged.According to the previous seller who was helping his friend who lost her husband to sell it.This is a 2 owners car, has always been kept in the garage as she can't drive manual, that's where the body damage came from, it has been painted 2 years ago with original color,The car has very low mileage ( the original cluster has 34,447 miles but wasn't working at all... so I replaced it with another cluster with 59,215 miles on it, now the speedometer, the fuel gauge, all lights and signals are working but the odometer doesn't count!!That's the one on the car now and I will include the original one with the car, but I don't know exactly how many mileage! All the car is original, comes with the original top boot as new, the interior is new, brand new top (ROBBINS) has lifetime warranty from manufacture,Professionally installed last week ($1800),The headliner is perfect, new tires, new battery, the engine starts immediately from the 1st turn key!It doesn't have the original radio but has a Pioneer radio/ CD in dash works great. The original dashboard has some cracks and it's covered with a plastic dashboard, it looks very good now.It runs and drives great, I am not sure if it's the original engine or it has been restored or replaced! But it's a very powerful engine!awesome WEBER Dual port carburetor, it has a factory AC ( NOT WORKING ) since her husband changed it from fuel injection to carburetor he never put the compressor back but everything is there except the compressor...The car needs some minor body cosmetics that I believe will not cost too much to repair. The car is in a very good solid condition a surviving 37 years old car!I have a clear title in hand.I am trying as much as possible to go into the details but it will never be as you come and check the car by yourself, test drive it or to send a 3rd party to check it for you..The car is being sold " AS IS " due to the age there in No warranty. Please check all photos as they are a part of the descriptions, please feel free to ask all your questions BEFORE bidding, let me know if you need any additional photos, I don't have experience with classic cars but I will help as much as possible to get you the answers for all your questions.A deposit of $1000 Non Refundable must be paid immediately if you are the winner and the rest should be paid in 3 days maximum after the bid ends.I reserve the rights to end the auction early at anytime and sell the car. Please text or call me for any questions, to buy it now, to send the payment and to schedule pick up.Its the buyer responsibility to schedule shipping but I will be more than happy to assist you.
