1987 Porsche 944 Coupe Additional Info:
Hello, here is a real original survivor. Still has original paint. Hasn't been wrecked. I bought this car from one of my clients about a year ago and completely refurbished it. I have the bug to get a 911 so this must go. Lots of new parts! Car is a reliable driver. Everything works and functions. AC is ice cold. New compressor and drier. Complete power steering system is new. Engine seals, belts, water pump and pulleys are new. Brakes are new with sport discs, hydraulics are new, calipers rebuilt, stainless hoses. Suspension is new with bilstein sport shocks and struts on all 4 corners along with upgraded ball joints and engine mounts. Exhaust is new. Alternator is new. MSD ignition installed along with DME performance chip and cat delete. Car drives out great. Clutch was recently done before I bought the car. Odometer had been inop for a while as car history shows. One of the plastic gears had failed and the previous owner ran it that way so mileage is higher than what is shown. I did fix the odometer with a new gear and capacitor. Tires have a lot of life in them still. There are two glitches on this car that do not effect reliability at all but I with to give full disclosure. The fuel gauge flickers at times, the sending unit is a known good unit. The anti rattle clips on the right rear brake caliper are fatigued so if do go over a bump hard enough it will rattle. Long term I was going to upgrade to Turbo brakes so it hasn't been a priority.
