1969 MG MGB GT Additional Info:

I have owned this car for 13 years, nd having owned numerous MGB'S & GT's ranging from 1966-1974, his car is as solid and reliable as any. I purchased this car from another local MG aficionado who planned to get it running in order to flip it. He told me he had purchased the car from the original owner who had it stored in her garage for over 20 years. His plans to flip the car came to an end when he realized the engine was frozen. I purchased the MGB and put it in a high end restoration and mechanic shop. I told the owner to do whatever was necessary to have it running great and make it road worthy. The engine and transmission were replaced with a strong 1972 engine out of a recently wrecked car. I put just over 5K miles on it and it runs like a top. It always starts and handles the road great. The most amazing thing about this car is all body seams are like new. I don't believe this car was ever in an accident. When I bought it, t had a small dent and a few scratches. The interior has an excellent dash except one tiny crack right hand side by the glass. The headliner is perfect. I changed the seats out to nice thick vinyl with new door panels and carpet. The floor boards are excellent. Everything works great except the heater. The paint is cracking in several patches and bubbles have formed in the fenders. The paint color was originally primrose yellow and I painted it in AMX big bad green. The undercarriage is solid with only very minor surface rust. The reason I am selling is because I am down-sizing my collection due to my garage space. This car has concourse potential or just a fun daily driver. If you are a serious buyer you can call after 6PM with any questions. Thank you for your interest, oger - 530.409.5484
