1978 MG Midget - low milage and original parts (garaged) - original paint job

1978 MG Midget Stripes Additional Info:

1978 MG Midget - Car was garaged its entire life. Dash is the original (no crack or replacement due to sun damage). Was my dad's toy for drive-ins at the VFW but he's too old to drive it now. In last two years he restored/replaced the gas tank, rotors, brakes, fuel lines, plus new tires tires, and the carburetor was rebuilt last month. Original interior. You can see many of the new parts in the pics. The only change is that the previous owner put in cassette player (original radio is gone).
Car runs but it is believed to need a new fuel pump or filter so it is not recommended for drive home (suggest flatbed/trailer). Car does start and runs smooth, but did flood after a short drive last time so we must suggest hauling it home to be safe.
Slight warp over front wheel wells from a dent (can be seen in pictures). Slight dent in hood from latch catching (very minor). Light rust near bottom left of drive door. Bottom of car is in great shape with no rust/holes in floor and frame is in excellent shape. One issue is that the car needs a new convertible top. Does come with tonneau cover that is in great condition.
If you look at my previous sales I sold a 79 MG with perfect rating from the buyer.
Please do not bid if you are not expecting to win as this was an issue with the 1979 MGM sale.
This car has a low reserve. 100% clean title.
Car's paint job is the original.
