Vehicle Details
This is a 1960 International Harvester Travelall with a rebuild of 453 Detroit Diesel engine. Its a really cool truck. Bought it from an owner of a rockshop in Evanston Wyoming who got it in an estate sale from an old rockhound who used to drive it around Utah and Wyoming looking for rocks. The rockhound insulated everything, I think because he slept it in while he was looking for rocks. It definitely has rust in the normal spots, along fenders and edges. The brakes are leaky so can't be driven home. I just replaced the batteries and am working on starting it up. I don't think it'll take too much, but its been a few years since I've tried. I bought it as a cool project for me and my dad to work on together, but got into school and my dad isn't in the best shape to help so decided to sell. Just a few things, I don't really trust the odometer so no clue the miles on the engine. Manual transmission worked well the last time I drove it around a few years ago.
