This is an extremely rare, well preserved 4 x 4. It is a 1973 International Harvester Travelall 1010. What makes this truck truly exceptional is that prior to this year, it was a one owner vehicle in Idaho, stored since 1979. It has just over 28,000 original miles, and upon your in-person inspection, you will be able to see the condition of the truck will validate that the mileage is real. It has flawless oil pressure, it does not overheat, it just runs and drives Exactly like it is supposed to. All of the wearable items and rubber hoses have been replaced, it needs absolutely nothing to drive and enjoy it. New brakes, new master cylinder, new 33" BFG all terrains. It has the "improved cooling" medium duty international 392 V8, 727 automatic transmission, and the 4x4 works. International SV series V-8's we're also found in buses and dump trucks, and commonly went over a quarter million miles or more when maintained properly. The 727 has a transgo shift kit installed to firm up shifts and further extend the life of the transmission for towing, etc. I also installed rear "helper" airbag springs that are adjustable from 5-100 psi to assist when towing. It does not leak or burn oil, it is in unbelievably good condition. The paint is original, and only has a few minor flaws as you can see in the photos. Primarily a little peeling on the tailgate. The truck is rust free. The front seat upholstery is original, and has one minor tear on the driver's side where the stitching has come undone. The second row seat has been reupholstered with a similar fabric. I have a large family, so I bolted in a third row seat as well that can be removed if you prefer - it is just a gray standard folding seat out of minivan. As it sits, there are enough seatbelts and seats for nine people. All of the electrical wiring, lights, and electric rear window are in good working order. The only things on the truck that are not in working order are the air-conditioning and radio. The air-conditioner works, but does not cool effectively and probably needs a recharge. It already has fittings for modern 134a refrigerant. There are newer speakers and wires installed and labeled under the dash to make installing a radio simpler - I will not be getting around to it.
I was told that this is one of 52 of this exact model still registered to drive in the USA. Is extremely rare, and it is the only one I have ever seen in this good original condition, and with this few miles. I hope to sell this to someone who can really appreciate what it is! I am only selling to put some money back in the bank for my family. I DO have a clean/clear title for it.
