IT HAS SOME BREAKDOWN AND WEAR ON THE SEAT, SOME SMALL SCUFFS AND MARKS ON THE DOOR PANELS AND DASH, THE CARPET HAS SOME FADING AND DISCOLORING IN AREAS, BUT NO HOLES. BOTH POWER WINDOWS WORK, BOTH DOOR LOCKS MANUALLY INSIDE AND WITH KEY OUTSIDE, BUT ONLY RIGHT DOOR LOCKS WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON. THE HEATER BLOWS STRONG, BUT A/C NO LONGER BLOWS COLD ALTHOUGH EVERYTHING IS INTACT AND MAKING ALL THE RIGHTSOUNDS AND MOVEMENTS, SO MAY JUST NEED A RECHARGE. THE MIRROR FELL OFF THE WINDSHIELD, BUT WILL BE PUT BACK ON AND THE MISSING DOME LIGHT COVER IS ON IT’S WAY FROM A EBAY. OVERALL AS ANYTHINGOF THIS AGE IT COULD USE A LITTLE TLC, BUT DOES NOT NEED ANYTHING AND COULD BE USED AS IS.
MECHANICAL-THIS F150 CAME FACTORY EQUIPPED WITH THE LEGENDARY 5.0L 302 FUEL INJECTED V8 MOTOR BACKED BY AUTOMATIC OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION THAT IS VERY TIGHTWITH SMOOTH SHIFTS,EASY TO MANEUVER POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES THAT STOP FIRM AND STRAIGHT WITH NO PULLING OR SHAKING. THE MOTOR PULLS STRONG AND SMOOTH AT ALL TIMES AND IN ALL CONDITIONS AND DOES NOTSMOKE, HESITATE, KNOCK OR TICK. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY THROUGH ALL GEARS.THE STEERING IS TIGHT WITH A STEERING WHEEL THAT TURNS LEFT TO RIGHT SMOOTHLY WITH NO BINDING, NOISE, SLOP AND JUST A LITTLE PLAY. THE TIRES HAVE LOTS OF LIFE LEFT AND WE HAD THE OIL CHANGED ALONG WITH ALIGNMENT.THIS DRIVE-TRAIN IS ORIGINAL AND WILL SHOW SOME DIRT AND GREASE BELOW AND ALONG THE BOTTOM OF THE MOTOR AS IT IS 29 YEARS OLD AND SEEN USE, BUT IS A CLEAN USED HONEST TRUCK WITH NO RATTLE CAN BLACK SPRAY PAINT ALL OVER THE PLACEOR CHEAP UNDERCOATING SPRAY. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS THE UNDER SIDE OF THE BODY AND ALONG THE FRAME IT IS PRETTY DRY. THIS TRUCK RIDES SMOOTH, TRACKS STRAIGHT, HAS NICE POWER, EVERYTHING ACTS AS IT SHOULD AND REALLY THE ONLY THING TO MAKE NOTE OF IS THE REAR BRAKES SEEM TO BE A LITTLE SENSITIVESOMETIMES AND UNDER QUICK BREAKING SEEM TO WANT TO LOCK UP SOMETIMES, BUT ON JUST NORMAL CRUISINGAROUND DRIVING IT DOESN’T. THE ANIT-LOCK BRAKE ISN’T ON AND MAY BE JUST SOMETHING THAT IRONS OUT ONCE IT GETS REGULARLY DRIVEN AGAIN, BUT JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN BIDDING.
