Offered for sale is a group of 4 Austin Healeys. These include: one 100-6 BN4, two 3000 BJ8s, and one 3000 BT7 chassis. None of the cars have titles, and are being sold with a bill of sale only. The BN4 and one of the BJ8s have VIN tags. The black/red BJ8 has a body tag only, but the VIN# (HBJ8L/31012) was read from the right front shock tower. There is no VIN tag for the BT7 (which is missing the chassis rear clip section).
The blue BJ8 has a very nice front clip, while the lower half of the rear clip and frame rails are mostly rusted away. This car is mostly complete however, and with a replacement frame would be a good restoration project.
The BN4 has quite a bit of frame rail corrosion, but has repairable front and rear clips. The BT7 chassis (missing rear clip) has much better frame rails, and would be a restorable chassis. The BN4 comes with all major body panels, engine block and head, crankshaft, rear axle, flywheel, clutch, bumpers, windshield, dash, grille.
The black/red BJ8 has some frame rail rot in the front and center sections, and has tubes supporting the rails to prevent sagging. The front and rear clips on this car are in very solid condition, however. This car has all body panels except a front shroud. An engine block, head, pan, pistons, partial disassembled transmission and overdrive, top frame, flywheel, rear cockpit trim, seat bottoms, transmission tunnel, intake and exhaust manifolds, correct HD8 SU carbs, starter, door glass, and vent window assemblies are some of the parts included.
There are many extra miscellaneous parts included with the cars that are pictured but not mentioned, including a very hard to find 2 seater rear shroud. The parts listed in this description are not comprehensive, and it is impossible to fully show the condition of each of the cars and all of the parts in the 24 pictures that eBay allows, so many additional pictures are available upon request.
