1960 Willys CJ5This is a survivor, 15+ years of work went into this Kaiser Willys Jeep. Has the “Willys" Tailgate and the VIN number reflects it is an actually Willys Jeep. If you are looking for a show car or a 4x4 to chop up into an off road vehicle, keep looking. I found it on a large farm back East, covered in mud and clay. It was used as a farm vehicle for most of its life. Some have speculated that it was once a Military CJ-5, which might explain the hood latches and bumper. Since most of its life was on a farm, the frame was in great shape., The body was in rough shape as it bumped into rocks and trees. The body is back to its 1960 setup, with the toolbox under the passenger seat. All steel, not perfect but very solid. It starts up with no problem. See the video. This is not a daily driver, yet. Someone with more talent than me will be able to have some fun dialing this machine in. I am backyard mechanic, I know enough to get in trouble. Since moving to CO, after it warms up it starts to sputtering which is annoying. There are a few other things like new shocks and some seals that need to be installed. I hope to put the shocks on very soon. If serious, PM me and I will share more. It is not perfect, but you will have a hard time finding another Willys as original as this one. Lots of spare parts to go with it, some smart upgrades made to it. Bigger brakes, New wiring harness, new tires, etc. It is register in CO as a classic vehicle, does not require emission testing. It comes with a CO clean title.
