1991 Volvo 240 Additional Info:

Selling my beloved 1991 Volvo 240 sedan. Myself and the previous owner have performed numerous restorations with intent to fully restore. Only selling because I was given another car. I will describe this car as accurately as I can. Please see all photos.
Assets:
Looks great. Very little or no body rust. Paint job is clean.
New brakes and tires. All factory hubcaps present and matching. (2015)
New fuel pump and pre pump (2016).
New rear lights (2015)
Throttle housing cleaned and transmission motor mount replaced (2016).
(Above services performed by Volvo specialists in Mobile, Alabama.)
Problems:
Odometer is at 160200 and has been broken since before last owner. Actual mileage is unknown.
Compressor needs to be replaced and A/C does not work. Fan and heat blow ok.Heated seat not operational on driver's side. Cruise control and radio are not operational.
Washer fluid reservoir broken. Passenger side interior door handle loose. Fuel pump relay must be switched on via a toggle switch on dashboard prior to starting.
A couple small holes in the driver's seat upholstery. SRS and overdrive light are on but not indicative of problems (relays only). Dash is not lighted.
This car has a history of stalling at a low idle and hesitation when accelerating. It will still occasionally hesitate when on the gas followed by a sloppy idle when in park. I have been driving it with two feet to keep a consistent gas flow. This may be an easy fix, but unfortunately I am not capable of the maintenance a 25-year old car requires. I had both fuel pump and pre-pump replaced THIS YEAR (see above), but I still encounter this problem. :(
I hope to see it go to a 240 collector who can perform routine maintenance and continue its restoration. This car was made to be fixed and not thrown away!!
