You are looking at AN ALL ORIGINAL 1987 Volkswagen Cabriolet Wolfsburg Edition in “triple-white”. This is the iconic "Can't Buy Me Love" make, model, & color car with only 24k miles, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title. This is a truly a rare car in beautiful condition that runs great and is a BLAST to drive! It is a stunning example of a 30 year old classic car. This Cabriolet was manufactured by Karmann and powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 90 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. It features a color-coordinated convertible soft top and roll bar. Wolfsburg & Karmann Edition badges, body-color wheel arch flares, and bright bumpers with black trim. White-finished 14″ Snowflake alloy wheels with machined accents and mounted with 195/60 Westlake Radial RP18 tires. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The front sport seats and rear bench are trimmed in white leather and joined by color-coordinated leather door panels. Appointments include air conditioning that blows cold air, a lockable glove box, quarter vent windows, Cabriolet-branded floor mats, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a digital clock, and readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level. A trio of auxiliary gauges are housed in the center console. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 24k ORIGINAL miles.

I acquired the car in August 2023, and subsequently oversaw:

-New digital clock

-New shifter bushings

-New intake manifold gaskets

-New oil pan gasket

-New drive belts

-New battery

Everything works as it should, including the seats that slide/tilt perfectly!

A few things to note:

-Curb marks and corrosion are visible on 2 wheels.

-Surface rust on the hood is noted.

-Corrosion is visible on the door and trunk hinges.

- Small door ding on back drivers rear upper panel as shown in photos, not very noticeable in person.

This car is sold as is with NO warranty, has no known issues and has been recently inspected with all necessary items replaced or repaired as noted above, service records are available upon request.
