1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic custom Additional Info:
I am selling this stunning, super cool, lady owned, 1974 VW Beetle bug in excellent condition. We bought this vehicle for my wife about 6 months ago (she had one in high school) and have been enjoying it since; however, my wife is interested in a 1978 VW convertible that is being sold locally. When I purchased this car on EBAY I was informed by the seller that the car was owned by an elderly lady since new (the car was a one family owned vehicle). It was garage kept since new and the car was being sold to settle her estate.
The interior is fantastic - from the seats and door panels to the headliner and the carpet. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive, with its dual-port, twin solex carburetor engine and 4 speed transmission. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, brakes and handles excellent. The entire car is highly detailed and ready for the most discriminating collector, enthusiast or classic car lover. This car is a great investment. It's ready to drive anywhere, including the next car show. The car was uniquely and meticulously customized, looks and runs great. All components operate as they should; the front blinkers are in the headlights. The exterior has few imperfections, and is in overall great condition. The only imperfections with the interior is some cracking on the dash pad.
According to the stamped numbers on the engine, which read as follows: AE904117, I believe the engine to be a 1600. I had the vehicle safety inspected by our trusted mechanic and their body shop, and was told the customization of this car was done very well and appeared to be a costly restoration. The mileage on the odometer shows 7150 miles, but I cannot confirm this is actual mileage; although, the engine and compartment is very clean. We have driven the car regularly for the past few months without issue. This is a very nice customized bug (one of a kind), that is uniquely and impeccably customized. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Ed 414-241-7388
