1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Sunbug Additional Info:
This is a limited edition 1974 Sunbug. It is an original New Mexico car and has no rust.I have replace virtually all the rubber, and replaced the carpets. The gas lines are new, as is the windshield. The rest is original. The paint appears to have been a respray, but I do not know when.
When I got the car, the odometer said about 35,000 miles and the seller told me that was accurate. However, I had to have the speedometer rebuilt and it now shows just a few miles. The engine runs like a top and does not appear to burn oil. All the instruments work.
The base model is a Super Beetle and it has a 1600cc engine. The tires are good and it runs great. I have clear title. $6,500 OBO.
