Thanks for your interest in a rare gem. This 1978 Sage Green Volkswagen Westfalia Camper Bus is truly special. They are very hard to find in this shape and that run this well. MECHANICALLY:

This amazing bus is powered by its original cylinder type 4 2.0 liter engine, with a just completed top end rebuild. The rebuild was completed with top of the line Mahale pistons and has less than 600 miles on it. I will gladly provide the receipts for all recent upgrades. She has a fresh oil change, tune up, and timing completed. There is a fire suppression system installed in the engine compartment. The bus has a brand new Bosch starter, battery, and ignition switch.She fires right up, runs STRONG, and stays cool. The clutch plate was checked while the engine was out and is like new. The clutch pedal was just adjusted, and she shifts through all the gears smoothly. All lights, turn signals, windshield wipers function as they should. All the contacts were cleaned and function properly. She is ready for any road trip you throw at her.

INTERIOR/EXTERIOR:

Just to be clear, this is NOT a fully restored bus. It has been kept as original as we could. They are NO warranties. The bus is being sold as is. You are welcome and I encourage you to come and check it out in person prior to purchasing. If you can’t make it in person, you can send someone to check it out for you. This bus is used and is almost 40 years old and there are imperfections. THE BUS DOES HAVE THE ORIGINAL CARPET, UNDER THE RUGS PICTURED. This is not a “show bus”, we drive it and camp in it as it was meant to be used. It is very clean, garage kept, and extremely well cared for. I have included many photos and will be glad to send more upon request. I have nothing to hide. The pictures speak for themselves. The odometer reads 84277, actual miles unknown and unverifiable. The bus has a clean title and will come with a bill of sale.

The Bus was freshly painted it’s original Sage Green last year. The headliner, trim, kick plates, sliding door, and rear hatch are all custom handmade Baltic birch panels. She has a new canvas pop top and new seals all around. The bus has its original carpet as well as new carpet in the front area. It also has a custom made console/stool that fits between the front seats. The bus has a newly installed “retro” sound system with auxiliary cable and Bluetooth. We will also include the original tables that came with the the bus.

The $ 500.00 non-refundable deposit is due immediately.

Local pick-up is preferred but I will work with you to get the vehicle shipped once the FULL sales price has been wired and confirmed. Shipping is NOT included in the final sales price and will be the buyers responsibility.
