California VW Thing!All original, previous owner had won multiple awards in the preservation VW classes and we found one plaque in the trunk!This car is an absolute treasure for the Volkswagen Thing enthusiasts, would make a great restoration candidate or just drive it as is and enjoy the beauty and fun.This Thing runs and drives great, freeway speeds are no problem and the brakes have just been gone through so it actually stops!The CV's have been serviced and the boots were just replaced, all fluids have been changed and the valves and timing have been adjusted to spec.The tires seem to have sufficient tread.The paint has dulled out over time, we buffed the hood out only to show how easily it comes back to life. With a little elbow grease this Thing should shine up nicely.The top has a few small tears and there are a few dings here and there.
