52-year old 1965 VW Campmobile

I purchased this last month as a surprise for my girlfriend so we could get it running and use it as our beach cruising VW camper. I own several VW's but really wanteda camper like this. While trying to find a truck for transporting this VW to Florida at a reasonable cost, she was diagnosed with some very serious and life changing medical news (very personal!) and I think it best that I don't "surprise her" with this gift at this time as she'll be in and out of the hospitalrelatively soon. After discussing the situationwith the person Ibought it from, I've decided to list it for sale while it's still in hispossession, and I'm doing this with hisknowledge and approval. My loss could very well be your gain as this VW is in much better condition than many out there in my opinion and won't take much to get it back on the road again - if youhave any VW experience or have friends or a local shop that does.
The same owner has hadthis VW in storagefor the last 20-years and it's still at his storage facility in the Glasgow Montana area. It is currently not running. Very original VW inside and out. These are the only photos available so please don't ask for any more. They are the same ones I saw when I bought the VW. Very solid and very original VW as you can see in the photos, includingthe interior. I was toldthe nose had the spare tire onthere and is dented a bit, but solid. Passenger front window is also cracked.
This VW does NOT come with a title (eBay had no way to list it this way). However, a Montana Bill of Sale will be filled out in your name which may work in your state for registration. Ck with you DMV if you're not sure as most antique vehicles only need a bill of sale in many states.
It is a very complete and solid VW camper. Just look at the underbody in the photos,straight frame and perfect heater tube, rare on any old split window Bus. The rust on the side is from the windows missing before the owner picked it up. It does need restoration, but very solid as mentioned. The lights were removed and they come with it. There is also all the parts you need to fix the brakes. Also a couple side windows along with the rear bumper too.
There is no hurry to move so take your time getting a good shipper if you need to.
