1983 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Additional Info:
I have a 1983 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Camper for sale. It has a 1996 2.2L Subaru Legacy engine conversion with 100,000 miles on the engine. The chassis has 350,000 miles. Has a new clutch that was installed less than 5,000 miles ago. It is RWD and is a 4 speed manual. This vanagon is trip ready! It has been camped in over 150 days in the last year, so you know all of the parts work. The solar panel and aux battery allow you to charge electronics, use the sink, and play the stereo without running down the starter battery. Drives very well at highway speeds, although I did not drive it faster than 70mph. I have spent approximately 500 hours in the past year working on this van.
