1970 Triumph TR-6 Additional Info:

This 1970 Triumph TR-6 is a complete project car with many new parts. I purchased this car a few years ago with the intentions of restoring it back to good driving condition but I simply have not found the time, so my loss is your gain.
The previous owner owned this Triumph for about 30 years and had been working on it for some years prior to me purchasing it. The car has decent paint, it looks good from about 10 feet away but has many imperfections and small dents that are still present in the bodywork here and there, I would call the paint decent driver quality. There does not seems to be any large rust areas, I assume the previous owner addressed any rust areas before painting.
The engine does run and does not smoke, the brakes work, and the transmission/clutch seem to shift well, I have only driven it up and down my private drive. Unfortunately, the engine leaks a good bit of engine oil, I would say that the engine needs a full re-seal, but not a rebuild. The engine has new dual Weber Carbs, Aluminum valve cover, an upgraded electronic ignition, and a new ANSA Exhaust system.
The previous owner installed new carpets and new seats, and some new weather stripping but there is still work to be done to complete the interior and trim. The convertible top is in decent condition but it is not new and does show some wear.
Overall this car would be great project for someone looking to have a fun weekend driver but it is not ready to be driven on the road at present.
Here are some of the things that I think are needed to make this car fully driveable:
Engine needs a full re-seal and tuning of ignition and carbsSorting of interior, including some interior lighting, gauges, and dash bulbs etc.Brake sensor light is "ON", sensor needs replacing, and new fuel gauge sender needs connectingA full nut and bolt of the car is needed to ensure everything is installed fully and adjusted properlyNew tires are neededNew battery is needed
Happy Bidding!
Thanks, and please let me know any questions you may have, the car is located in Gainesville, GA about 45 minutes north of Atlanta.

Just a note, this exhaust system is a Monza exhaust, not Ansa. Also, this car has an added oil cooler. Lastly, the front bumper along with some small spare parts will be included in the sale, thanks.
