1965 Shelby COBRA Additional Info:

This Cobra is areal Shelby aluminum body continuation CSX4023 the twenty thirdchassis and body to be built by Shelby America Las Vegas Nevada. It was purchased by Claudio Ballard to be the prototype for the AC Iconic Roadsterthat if you googlethat title AC Iconic Roadster you will see what it was going to be. The carspent hundreds of hours at Motion Performance Auto Bodyin Bay shore Long Island getting it's extra wide aluminum flares built on the car and all the welds on the chassis ground down so when the chassis was painted you would not see any weld's. A lot of custom parts went into the building of this car upgraded brake's and suspensio, large 42 gallon fuel tan, custom roll ba, windshield and many more custom part's. The car was then sent to Bill Andrews at H.R.E Motor car's in Freeport NY to be assembled. Some were along the line Claudio changed his mind and went a completely different way with a different car custom from the chassis up to build the AC Iconic roadster. This is still a rare and beautiful car and is now being offered for sale minus drivetrain. The car has been painted but the color with it's black ghost flames is not the most desirable color combo andcan be repainted to your choice of color anytime.
