Please read the description before bidding !Newly completed Replica of a 356 Speedster C - which means Wide Outlaw Body, Kit manufactured by Classic Motor Carriages in Miami - Florida, built on a VW pan / chassis, rebuilt 2110 cc VW engine with dual 40's carburetors and manual transmission, external oil cooling kit installed, better performance and will never overheat, very clean engine compartment with a lot of other new motor components. New Metallic Green paint job and new 2 tones interior, runs and drives, only 19 miles since completed in 2002, will need some minor things done, seatbelts installation and seats bolted on, final adjustments, car stops well but looks like there is a little air on the brake fluid lines, will need a bleeding job - car was parked for 2 years, wipers are there but not working, power antenna is functional and in working condition but there is no radio installed, lights in working condition, working parking lights, working turn signal, working rear lights and working headlights, will need a bulb replacement on passenger side headlight, horn is in working condition with a beautiful vintage sound..... Kit was bought back in 1991 and the old electrical harness was used but a new one can be bought for 175 dollars if the new owner would like to change the electrical harness and rearrange it a little. Car was never registered, comes with Certificate of Origin from Classic Motor Carriages (please see photos in the listing of Certificate of origin and C.M.C. VIN tag) The new owner will have to go to the DMV for an inspection in order to register the vehicle and get a Title, of course after the seatbelts will be installed and seats bolted on the floor. This Speedster is a Summer Cruiser and does NOT have a top ! A lot of money was spent to have it done as nice as it is, what's left is minimal, a few extra dollars and a little passion and you can have a cool weekend toy and a real head-turner for the Summer !
