For sale a 1980 Porsche 911SC Targa. Current mileage is 111,309. The car is in excellent condition both inside and out. The exterior is beautiful and has no dents or rust. The Targa top is in great condition and like new. The interior is in great condition with new seat covers and coco mats. It shows like new. The car has a new stereo system which sounds great. The rims are BBS’s and the tires have lots of wear remaining. Mechanically the car is in top condition. The engine runs strong and the trans shifts very smooth. The car has been regularly maintained by the local Porsche shop for the last 15 years. When the car was bought from the previous owner he explained that the car had suffered water damage to the interior while it was in his garage due to a major storm. The insurance company decided not to repair the car but to write it off. The owner was paid for the car and then repurchased it and restored it as the damage was only to the interior. As a result of the write off the car does have a flood, water damage title ( in Calif this is a Salvage title). It has since been restored a second time over the last few years back to like new condition as many cars of this vintage have. Many of these restored cars had major rust isssues and mechanical issues and the only difference between them and this car is the word salvage on the title.
