455 4 Speed Red

1973 Pontiac Trans Am 455 Additional Info:

You are bidding on a 1973 Trans Am 455 4 Speed project. It is a rare optioned car with dual exhaust power steering, ower brakes,air conditioningand 8 track player with its original blue california plate (see photo). Transmission is numbers matching and rearend looks to be original. block is and Service Replacement (SR - see photo)block which means it was replaced by dealer early in its life. Correct block with castingand date codes. All engine components are date correct, ncluding the heads and intake. Engine is frozen and will need a complete rebuild. Transmission seems to be in good shape and shifts fine but should be gone through anyway. There are no brakes including no emergency brake. Front Windshiels is cracked but rest of glass is good. Car rolls and steers but does not stop. Rearend is a 3.42 Posi and has aftermarket traction bars. original spring plates come with car.

This vehicle was rescued from a backyard in So. Ca. where it was left for the past 30 years

Car is rough and in need of a complete restoration. Roof, indow frames, ront edge of hoodandrear floors are all rusted (see photos) Trunk floor has a couple of small rust spots which can be easily patched. Interior needs to be completely replaced. Have most of the parts but missing radiator.

Has a clear title with current registration and tags.
