1975 Pontiac Ventura Street/Strip Additional Info:

You love it when someone invests the right money to build an all-out street machine just like you would, and this incredible 1975 Pontiac Ventura Street/Strip is a prime example. It's a slick build with a powerful dual-quad supercharged V8, upgraded suspension, custom interior, and slick modern paint everywhere (including the undercarriage.) So it's obvious that no corners were cut in its construction.

The GM X-body has always been popular with custom street machine crowd, especially when you can get it in the more distinct Pontiac form. But while a lightweight car makes for an awesome performance build, the true key to this one is all its retro-cool attitude that goes with the asphalt-eating power. Rendered in a vibrant Spring Green, it has the gloss and shine that comes from investing in time, product, and a professional hand applying it. It has a metallic element worthy of a disco ball, and the laser light show custom side graphics will make you look up retrofuturism. So yes, this a memorable machine for far more than just the big motor popping out of the hood, huge rear tires, full-width aluminum spoiler, and the professional-style wheelie bar.

Inside is quite a thoughtful look. The tweed is tastefully done on the door panels, bucket seats, and dash. And the exterior green returns as accenting on all of these. It even has thoughtful touches like a working Pioneer AM/FM/cassette stereo. But what you'll really love are all the pieces of a serious competition machine. You see that in the racing harnesses, AutoMeter auxiliary gauges, and huge Pro-Comp tach. The full custom roll cage even extends to the trunk where it protects the fuel cell. Plus, the flame-etched sports steering wheel and Hurst shifter are just where your hands want to rest.

You'll love lifting the hood everywhere you park. After all, this might be a monster motor, but it has such a sweet look with the smooth polished walls and all the major components shining brightly. But more than just an award-worthy presentation, you're wondering about the power. This is a stout 350 V8 that's been stroked to 383 cubic inches total. It has been fortified and enhanced with Dart aluminum heads, a Comp Cams camshaft, and roller rockers. So it was made for big power to be put on top with dual Holley four-barrel carburetors and a Weiand 671 blower. There's also the right supporting pieces, like steel braided hoses, MSD electronic ignition, and headers feeding the growling dual exhaust. The TH350 three-speed transmission was built to handle the muscle. It sends the power to a stout Ford 9-inch rear with Moser axles, and there's 4.56 gears for power take-offs. As you look underneath, you'll spot a cool color-matched presentation in the details. You'll also see Wilwood disc brakes up front and a ladder bar rear with diagonal bar for added support.

This is a serious power machine that also has a terrific shine. So if you want to be memorable at the car show and the drag strip, call today!
