1978 Pontiac Firebird Firebird Additional Info:
This Firebird is SO HOT that the Screaming Chicken burned off ! The truth be told, I bought this car for stripping all the parts off and building my 1977 Trans Am SE (like Smokey & Bandit). But like a lot of us our projects sit, so I ended up buying a completed 77 Trans Am SE. So this BEAST just sits in my garage until I decide to blast the neighbors with some untamed classic muscle. Here is just a sample of parts new or upgraded...New Brakes, New Calipers,Hotchkiss full street suspension, new bushings, ball joints, shocks...18" Rims and Tires..New Engine 383 Stroker with Forged Internals, 6-8lb supercharger, nitrous setup 350hp, fuel management system, Eldebrock intake with 750 carb. new rear end 4:10 posi built gears, msd ignition, billet distributor, aluminum radiator, electric fans, electric water pump, headers hooked up to flowmasters, dual stage nitrous steering wheel, Nitrous has never been run through the engine yet. B&M shifter connected to a 350 Turbo Transmission with hardened 2nd gear shift kit. Chrome braided lines throughout the engine bay. New Carpet, headliner and Recaro Seats. The guy that built this put a lot of time and money into it ! I have added Red Halogen Headlights, a stereo system and new starter since I have owned it. The side pipes are fully functional, so to blow all the smoke rolling off the tires as you burn them up. This car is not for the timid ! It is LOUD, Powerful and is ready for the track or the street.
Feel free to ask any questions, I will answer to the best of my knowledge. The Buy it Now price is a just a fraction of the cost of parts, so HIT THAT BID BUTTON NOW !
I have a short video tour of the car as it is running, I can send it out to interested parties. Sorry, not looking for any trades at this time. But, will be considered for the right combination of money and trade. Good Luck Bidders !
