Offered from my personal collection is theopportunityto own one of the few remaining unmolested original 4 speed manual 1978 Pontiac Trans Ams remaining. What we have here is a car that has not been restored or altered from its original configuration. This is a factory number matching 400 W72 4 speed manual car with Factory Ice Cold working Air Conditioning. The car is finished in its original color combination of Code 11 Cameo White with a Blue hood Eagle and decals over a Blue Deluxe interior. The car also has it's factory original AM/FM Stereo with 8 track tape player. The body and under carriage of this car are as clean and close to perfect as can be with no previous accident or rust repair. The car has had one repaint that is of a very high quality and looks factory. All the decals were replaced at that time as well as the weather strips. The interior is original and has not been restored and still feels new when you sit in the seat. There is a hairline crack in the dash but it is so small it could be repaired if the new owner wanted. Every thing mechanical works properly. The car starts easy and runs quiet and smooth. The transmission shifts up and down through all the gears and also feels like new. The power brakes stop on a dime and the suspension is tight. Also there are nosqueaks or rattles as this car was never taken apart or abused. This car even has its originalcatalytic converter and exhaust systemas well as all it's smog system .The car has a near new set of raised white letter Cooper Cobra tires on it and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.These cars have been escalating in value over the last year or so and factory 4 speed cars with factory A/C are always in high demand making this car anexcellent investment. Also it is very hard to find one ofthesecars that hasn'tbeenin the hands of a young person or just as bad a hot rodder . The Old Car Price Guide lists this car as an average retail of $22950 and a high retail of $45495. That doesn't take into consideration that this car is one of the best colorcombinations. The car is located in Hollywood Florida just south of the Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale Air Port and can be inspected anytime before the auctions end.
