1978 Pontiac Trans Am W72 Additional Info:

1978 Trans Am 400 W72, 4spd, 3.42 posi. PS/PB/PW/AC 28,500 orig. miles. All numbers matching, orig. build sheet & documentation, Solar Gold w/ completely untouched orig. deluxe cloth tan int.(build sheet still under drivers seat), excellent cond., am/fm/8 track stereo. Everything works as it should w/ exception of clock. 750 miles on rebuilt motor w/ mild performance upgrades. Lunati Voodoo Hydraulic Flat Tappet cam 276/284, Comp Cams 1.5 roller tip rockers, .30 over TRW forged pistons, Eagle rods, orig. 6X/4 (W72) heads were cleaned up (mild port work), new springs & stainless steel valves, Tomahawk intake has some mild port work to clean up the factory imperfections & matched to heads, orig. 800 cfm quadrajet was rebuilt & rejetted for the bigger cam, hypertech coil sits under the stock distributer cap. Ram Air Restoration exhaust manifolds flow into pypes 2.5" exhaust w flowmasters. Mcleod steel flywheel w/ 11" ram pressure plate & cluch disk. Edelbrock Performance AIS shocks, polyurethane sway bar bushings, new 17" Year One snowflake rims w/ new 255/50/17 Nitto tires. All orig sheet metal, glass & trim, solid floorboards & chassis, fully undercoated. Car has had some paint work over the years. Minor rust on bottom of pass. fender. I am the 5th owner & have had it for the last 10 yrs. I have many of the orig parts that will go w/ the car. Very well documented & unrestored. I will not say it's a true survivor due to paint work & performance upgrades, but very close to it. Too much to list. Runs & drives like new. Turn key & drive anywhere.
