1971 Plymouth 'Cuda Additional Info:
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this absolutely immaculate 1971 Plymouth Barracuda! This clean Cuda comes in a stunning pearl white paint job with stunning blue undertones and a spotless black interior. Powering the Cuda is a 340 cubic inch V8 motor that has been stroked out to 416 cubic inches mated to a smooth automatic transmission. This massive 416 is not the original motor, however the original motor does comes with the vehicle. Features of the Cuda include power steering, front disc brakes, functional heat, A/C and more. This vehicle comes to us from a private automotive collector who's family has owned the vehicle since 1973. As such the vehicle has always been properly maintained and stored. This multiple award winning vehicle is truly a eye catching ride you'll have to see to believe. So if you're in the market for a classic mopar, you cant go wrong with this 1971 Plymouth Cuda! Please call or email us today for more information.
The redesign for the 1970 Barracuda removed all its previous commonality with the Valiant. The original fastback design was deleted from the line and the Barracuda now consisted of coupe and convertible models. The all-new model, styled by John E. Herlitz, was built on a shorter, wider version of Chrysler's existing B platform, called the E-body. The E-body Barracuda was now "able to shake the stigma of 'economy car'. Three versions were offered for 1970 and 1971: the base Barracuda (BH), the luxury oriented Gran Coupe (BP), and the sport model 'Cuda (BS).
