Vehicle Details

This car was bought new in Saint Louis Missouri and spent its entire life in the area. In the late 1970s this car was street raced. When I purchased the car it had spent 40 years in a storage unit, I was told it was in hiding due to its street racing career. The engine is a Chrysler factory replacement 340 with the correct build date for this car, stamped into the china rail is “never sold”. The engine is all brand new from the oil pan to the Holley street avenger it has been stroked to 414 and has an 8 bolt crankshaft, bill Miller forged pistons, crower 270r cam shaft, and a set of mildly ported “X” heads with manley 1.60/2.05 valves with triple springs and speed pro 1.6 ratio roller rockers, very hard running engine that does not disapoint. Transmission is a 727 that has been built with a B+M 2700 stall converter. When I had this car apart I completely redone the front suspension along with all new brakes and components and wheels and tires. This car is still wearing its original paint and stickers although it’s not a show car it’s a very presentable survivor. The underside of this car is one of the most solid E bodies you will find it’s has two small rust spots in the trunk pan that were patched in it’s previous life but other than that it has no rot. I have the original build sheet and the car still has the original fender tag. I have decoded it This is the fender tag codes. E55 340 - 4 Barrel (6 - Barrel w/ A53 Code)
