1971 Plymouth Barracuda -- Additional Info:
Up for sale is my 1971 Cuda Project car. This is a REAL BS CUDA!
I purchased it from the second owner and he said that it originally came from the factory with the following:
Winchester Grey ColorBlack Vinyl topWhite interiorBillboard stripes383 4 barrel3-speed manual on the floorPower front Disc brakesManual steering
As far as I can tell this is one of 67 71 Cuda's with the 383 and manual 3-speed ordered from the factory. Original motor and trans are long gone. Currently, the car has no motor or trans. It does have an 8 3/4 rear end with what I am told are 4.10 gears. The manual pedals are still in the car, but the clutch pedal arm was removed. Car does have the VIN plate intact and clean/clear Florida Title. The build sheet was in bad shape in the back of the seat, but is included. I took a picture of the Build Sheet after I pieced it back together. Fender tag is gone.It is DEFINITELY worth restoring due to its rarity.
The car rolls and steers just fine and the tires hold air for a couple of days so enough time to load and unload it.
REAL BS Cudas hard to find in project form and this one with it's cool color combination and options is really cool!
Keys are included and work on the trunk, doors and ignition!
I took a lot of pictures so you will know what you are getting. I also took pictures and videos of the underside of the car including the frame rails. If you email me I will send you a link to those pictures and videos. I also did a video walk around of the car outside and inside since a lot of people were asking.
The car is also being offered for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
I am NOT a dealer, just a car nut and I won't be getting to this project anytime soon, so I just want it to go to someone that can start on it sooner than me. It is a restorable car with some love and patience!
Please ask question prior to bidding.
I included pictures of the Dash VIN and matching partial VINS on the the Cowl panel and Radiator Support.
Several people have asked me and YES, I will sell to an overseas buyer, but buyer is responsible for ALL shipping, taxes, import/export fees etc.
THANKS!
