Unmolested 1968 Chevelle SS L78

This car was obtained from the 2nd owners’ family as apparently he died a few years after purchasing this car from the first owner. He kept most receipts for work that was done in the early 1970’s and a book of notes in regards to the car. He states the replacement “rebuilt” engine had 16,000 miles on it when he purchased it as the car has “CE” Chevrolet warranty engine in it. The car has rust in roof are as seen in the photos and the RH fender will need replaced but the quarters can be salvaged. Many more photos are available by request. The original M22 rock crusher manual transmission is in the car and has matching VIN to the car. In need of full restoration
The car has never been disassembled so the build sheet is probably hiding somewhere.
Car presently has 65000 miles.

Engine deck code CE159 78
The trunk has minimal rust and the floor pans only had two small areas of rust. Car appears complete with a moldings and trim.
This will someone a great starting point for a rare L78 Chevelle SS.

Title is still in the 2nd owners name. I have already had our NC Highway patrol inspect the car and will get it titled in my name but that may add a 30 day delay in the titles arrival.
