Car has been collector owned and garaged year round. Tons of recent work done, including FRONT DISC BRAKE CONVERSION, emblems, wheel moldings, paint/bodywork etc.
Body and paint are VERYNICE DRIVER QUALITY. Gets thumbs up anywhere including local car shows and cruise nights. VERY NICE,NO bubbles, NO clusters. Panel fit is good and doors open and close nicely. Overall good driver quality paintjob, nowhere near perfect but looks great.
Interior looksGOOD.Seats in good shape, older carpet. No real eye sores, just good looking driver interior. NEW dash cap. Convertible top is older as you can see. Keeps the elements away, but should be replaced eventually.
Under the hood the 327 (I believe) V8 roars at the turn of the key and performs great. No noises, great compression and a great performer. Dual Flowmaster exhaust. Tranny shifts good and solid rear end.STARTS RIGHT UP, IDLES GREAT AND YOU CAN GET IN AND DRIVE IT TODAY
Underside is in GOOD SOLID SHAPE. Frame looks good, couple small heavy metal patches welded professionally so it's super strong. Floors look pretty good, no big holes. Trunk looks good as well with a couple small patches.NOT PERFECT: could use a couple bulbs replaced here and there. Horn not working. Some small aesthetic issues pointed out. PLEASE UNDERSTAND CAR IS NOWHERE NEAR PERFECT and will require going over, tlc, mild restoration depending on what you want to do with it.
Overall a NICE DRIVER QUALITY 68 Chevelle SS 396 convertible CLONE you can get in and drive as is and do some tinkering with to dial it in to your liking. NOT perfect but a VERY NICE driver.
