1970 Porsche 914 Targa in Canary Yellow. This is the first year of the 914. The car features a stock fuel injected flat-4 1.7L Type 4 engine coupled to a factory 5-speed manual transmission and the desirable small chromes bumpers! Shows 13000 miles but it's a 5 digit odometer.The car is in very good condition overall. Recent work includes some new hoses, fuel injection adjustment/resealing, interior work, electrical system checkup, paint maintenance, general clean up and tuning. Also, a fresh engine oil change with filter as well as transmission fluid. Starts up nicely, runs well, has excellent power and stops like it should. Transmission shifts fine with a good clutch take up. Interior is clean, dash has been reupholstered, the seats are good and the top is in excellent shape. Chrome is excellent. A true California car since both the rear trunk and hell hole are solid and the car has no rust! Includes original factory paint (!!!) which has some minor bruises and scratches but still holds up surprisingly well. Original jack, radio and even hubcap removal tool are included.Overall, this is not a Concours car but a sweet original nostalgic survivor and/or Cars and Coffee ride for a fraction of the price of its larger brother of the same vintage. A perfect classic for the current convertible season!The car is located in San Francisco, California and is ready to be shown to prospective buyers. Clean title is in hand so ready to go!
