1970 Pontiac GTO Yellow RWD Automatic

1970 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:

1970 Pontiac GTO Real GTO (242 vin). Not likely to be the original drive train but comparing the drive train to the PHS documentation shows this car has a period correct YS 400 cubic inch engine and 400 turbo automatic transmission combo that this particular car would have come with from the factory.

Owned since 2006. Car has spent most of it's life since then in a climate controlled airplane hangar or garage. Have really only taken it to the occasional car show or parade.

The car has just received a full tune up and has been gone through mechanically to be ready for sale.

-New steering gear box (old one was leaking)

-New rear main seal

-New wires & plugs

-New battery

-New fluids (oil, filter, atf, coolant)

-New rear quarter window & window seal

Comes with PHS documents. (copies of the original factory build sheet) some of which are pictured.

Judge graphics. Real GTO 242 vin but not a real judge.

Engine removed to fix rear main seal and used the opportunity to have the engine repainted (as pictured). Judge stripes/decals missing on passenger side. One running light is out. Carpet on the bottom of the driver's door interior could use re-glued a little. There's a couple of minor dings/scratches as one can expect with an older restoration. (There are close ups in the pictures) Overall the car is solid. Runs and drives excellent. Lots of power. Has a working tachometer on the hood.
