Original Paint/Interior 1970 Ford Torino GT M code. This has always been in southern California and spent 95% of its life in dry Riverside County. Zero rust ever or anywhere. It comes with a Marti Report showing some rare options including AM/FM Stereo w /rear speakers, AC, Power Windows, Hideaways, Shaker, M Code 4 BBL 351 Cleveland, PS, PB.I purchased the car as is and have enjoyed driving it in southern California The car was mechanically sorted by the previous owner including the following:New Cam/Lifters/Timing Chain-Gears.Flushed CoolantRebuilt original trans adding shift kit and 2,000 stallRebuilt rear end and switched to 3:50 GearsBrakes completely rebuiltNew Full ExhaustNew Radial TiresThe previous owner was going to switch the hideaways to electric so he removed all the original vacuum system. The great part is he kept 100% of the parts which will come with the car.The original AC system was removed but also comes with the car. I have the original steering wheel as well which will come with car.Turn signal switch is worn out.All the power windows work.Drivers door had some repair on upper half hence the discolored paint on top half. No bondo but must of been a dent or paint chipping etc.. Not sure why or when but sometime in its 54 yrs of life. The original carb was removed and it has a Edelbrock replacement with a spacer which is why the shaker sits higher than stock. The car runs and drives excellent. The trans shifts hard and under acceleration will chirp tires in shifts. It's basically stock and sounds stock with factory style exhaust. Original rims are excellent etc...The front seats are typical desert sun damaged with cushions gone. I have replacement cushions that go with car, front seat covers in OEM material are available online for around $600. The console is also damaged and dash pad is original with cracks etc.The factory hood was damaged by the mechanic that was working on the engine. I was told the hood on it is an original shaker but can't validate. It's heavy and appears to be NOS. The hinges are weak and hood will not stay open. I did purchase a set from a shaker Tornio and never installed, those go with the car.I personally kept the car as is since I cherish original paint cars. It's a blast to drive and gets looks wherever I go. 've driven it local and on the highway and it rides smooth. The mechanical upgrades with the rear gear makes this car pretty quick for a full size Ford. If you chose to restore, you'll have an amazing car to strip and paint. I'll answer all questions the best I can. Car is located in North San Diego County and I can show with appt. No joy riders!Car is sold with no warranty with no refunds. I can help load for shipping and have room for semi transporters to load on my street.Last item, I will not accept payment through ebay unless buyer pays all fees. Prefer cash or wire transfer. Since our culture has changed to non payers, a non refundable deposit of $500 will be due immediately at end of auction. I can hang onto the car for up to a month if needed after auction ends, providing the car is paid in full.
