Rare 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback J code GT with replacement 302 and C4 automatic transmission.
Originally sunlit gold and currently rattle can black. Underside and frame rails look to be in solid condition. Minor body damage on front end, hood, front fenders, and passenger side door skin. Floorboards rusted through in the typical spots. Rust showing in plenty of spots and I tried to photo everywhere of concern.
Interior is mostly complete. Original rear seat, no passenger seat, and majority of trim sans door panels.
Engine was replaced by former owners quite a while ago. I was unable to find an ID tag on the transmission but assume it was replaced at the same time as the engine. A/C components must've been removed at that time too.
This is a running project. I drove it over to storage without any issues after taking photos but I do not consider this a "road worthy" car. Starts without a fuss. Blinkers, wipers, headlights, tail lights all working. Leaks tranny fluid but holds other fluids fine.
This car was rescued from a Denver suburb backyard in 2013 and has been garaged ever since. It comes with a clean Colorado title in the seller's name and the Elite Marti report shown in the photo's.

Update (Mon Apr 8 09:23:49 MDT 2024):Plenty of questions coming in regarding reserve price and 'buy it now' option. To be transparent for all here is my response:"I'm going to let this auction run it's full 10 days to gauge interest. Based on similar eBay auctions in the past couple months I've got reserve set at $20k. Happy bidding."
