1965 Ford E-Series Van Travel Wagon RV conversion Additional Info:

Very rare early RV 6 door conversion camper with a pop-up aluminum Calthorp top. The 240 straight six engine runs, the automatic transmission shifts fine and the van drives but the carburetor accelerator pump has a slow drip so it needs a carb rebuild and should be trailered home. Original keys and clean and clear title in hand, I can help ship if you are outside the Seattle, WA area.
This collectors item Econoline van is a survivor, the body is pretty rust free with just surface rust starting in the corners-see pics (it is a 60 year old car). Speedometer says 88,080 miles but you know the drill there and the drivers door was damaged but has been replaced and the new door shuts and aligns like oem new. The interior needs restored but the rare to find original 1 piece propane stove/refrigerator/sink combo is still intact. When new it had:
Electric water pump and 5 gallon tank attached to the sink.
Electric 110 extension cord for lights and outlet in kitchen.
Single bed on drivers side over water tank.
Fold down table mid cabin for dining.
Bucket style porta-potty located at the back of the cabin.
You can see those items aren't there but some rare conversion trinkets that survived are the screened louvered side windows for in cabin breeze, 2 small cabinets for spices and other sundries in the cabin, a small pull out step under the side doors and the previous owners added a full length awning on the passenger side of the van for shade when camping.
Old is the new retro and here's a good article if you want to learn more about these vintage old school vanlife collectors items:

Includes the original owners manual and included in the sale are receipts totaling thousands of dollars that go back many years. This was a father daughter project that was heading towards a new lease on life but when the father passed away this Travel Wagon van sat forlorn and unfinished. I'd say the mechanical work is done (aside from the carb rebuild); the car runs and drives, all the lights and turn signals work, and the tires are new 1 year ago and have less than 100 miles on them.
Just needs your vision to update or restore the interior and then vanlife or car shows await your future.
