HELLO RARE 1965 PONTIAC STATION WAGON LOVERS,

HERE IS THE STORY,

We all know STATION WAGONS ARE ON THE MOVE WAY UP AS INVESTMENT CLASSICS. Well, this "PONTIAC" Catalina Safari Station Wagon is right up there with the rarest left. This one is equippedwith the 389 v8 Cubic Inch Motor and a automatic transmission. Power steering and power brakes makes this unique wagon a true floating yachtboat. This Pontiac wagon is very rare, as not many were produced and this one is very straightwith all original body panels and no major accidents found or noted. THE ORIGINAL OWNER WAS ALWAYS KEEPING FULL DIARY OF THE CARS RECORDS IN A HAND WRITTEN BOOK, WITH MILEAGE ENTERIES.

The body is super straight and has had some very minor body work done recently to prep for new paint. small dings and checks are all that's left to repair to apply new paint. No rust showing anywhere on the car. The floors and underside are super clean and solid and the car was always 95% rust free. the gate and gullys are all clean and solid. Repairs were mainly on the three wheelwell upper seams as far as old rust was noted. A personal hand written diary of history is availableand all from day one when it drove off the lot. The car has lived in Coloradomost all it's life. starts with a touch of the key and has great power and motor runs great with no known issues or leaks. all doors windows open lock close fine and power rear window switches work very well. radio works but is older and the dash am radio works also. Lights high beams, dash, all operate good, gas gaugeworks with temp and amps, dash clock does not work. Some paint work was done behind rear bumper, so it will not have to be removed for painting unless it's a color change. done in the original paint TT gold code. Interior is all original the front seat was upgraded with head rests from 1967. it all in ok condition for rat-rod driver condition but all needs redone for show. Paint is faded patina with primer protection on bare spots. some new gold paint work might be added as i keep this car as we go along,... pictures added if changed. the paint on the car is original and was repainted once in the 70's.

ALL WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN, REAR GATE WINDOW IS POWER, WORKS GOOD.

DASH FRONT PADDED PART IS BEING WORKED ON NOW, IT IS INCLUDED- WITH PICTURES COMING.

Original Great Stainless Trim and Original Chrome, (rear bumper has few dings)

Good Rubber 4 new Radial Tires 14" with Original Rims and Full Wheel Cover Spinner Hubcaps

Seat Belts front and rear.

Known issues: brakes need adjusted left front pulls sometimes, horn- new wheel needs connected, front windshield leaks, needs new seal and glass, but no cracks has lamination issues. All other side glass is great and clear, rear gate window has lines in center from many up and down marks.
