1954 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
I bought this truck planning on making a cool little shop truck to beat around town in and advertise my business on the doors but decided to sell it. It still has the 6 cylinder in it that you might could get running, not sure I have not messed with it, because I wanted to do a fuel injected powertrain for everyday driving but didn't happen. These 6 cylinders are actually getting really popular because they are easy to work on and they get better fuel mileage and usually run forever a lot of people prefer this powertrain I just had a different vision of doing it. If someone could get this one running and stopping it would probably be in the high teens $$$ These trucks bring crazy money and this one has the right look. The body is actually straight except for the pass front fender has a tear in it where they all tear, it can be welded up and will look cool with the patina look. I just sprayed 4 coats of clear on it so it is shiny and turned out beautiful. As far as the rust goes it got it in the same places they all have it in which is a few spots on both lower doors and cab corners, running boards and a few spots on lower tail gate but nothing unusal personally I would not touch it, its kinda the look its supposed to have. The hood hinges are off the truck but I do have them. The pass glass is missing and drivers is good but vent window needs replacing and wind shield if it was me. Glass is cheap for these trucks its just flat glass. The truck still has the original brush guard on it which is really cool. It has a metal floor in the bed but I put the wood in it to make it look much nicer and stained and cleared it to last. I just put some used tires on BRAND NEW SMOOTHIE RIMS WITH NEW CHROME HUB CAPS that set the truck off and I removed some of the leif springs just to make it look better and was planning on changing it when I did the powertrain swap. The fat whitewalls are not on there its just for pictures to show you what it could look like. It now has used tires on the new rims, they are the skinny whitewalls but all hold air.The interior is clean and I cleared it as well. The odometer is clear and the seat is in good shape if you wanted to recover it. The floor board had 2 spots that need cut out and patched but nothing bad at all and the wood I put in will unscrew in 2 secs to replace the floor in the spots needed. I have a CLEAR TEXAS TITLE to it. This would make some a perfect truck to finish out especially if you already had a motor to drop in. This truck turned out amazing and will get plenty of attention for someone going down the road. If someone wanted to restore it back to the original look it would be a good one to do since it is a solid old truck and farely straight for being 74 years old!!! Overall its got the look it just needs the mechanical part finished up and it would be a awesome driver and depending on how you done it, it could be a daily driver. I think its one of the coolest looking patina looks out there, it looks better in person! I DONT CHECK MY EBAY USUALLY TO THE LAST DAY SO IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION CALL ME 512-760-5665 THANKS JUSTIN
