This sale is for 1960 Ford Galaxy 500 4 Door Hard Top. Has the original 292 V-8, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering and Power Brakes. Brake Booster has been upgraded with a more modern one, new brake hoses, lines, shocks. Fresh Dual Exhaust from the front to the back. The car had been in storage for many years prior. The gentleman I acquired it from drove all last spring and summer to most of the cruises and car events in the area. It got more interest than some of the restored cars. It has great patina and you dont see many of the hard top models. He called it his rockabilly car. The body on the car is very solid. All original paint. Real solid undercarriage with typical New England patina. Frame, Floors, Braces, Trunk, etc all solid. The interior is stock and for the most part is all intact showing age. Headliner is the worst of it but could be sewn or taped up to make it more presentable. All glass is good with the exception of the two front vent windows which are cloudy. Has a padded dash all in good shape. On the initial start you hear a light buzzing sound (not sure where its coming from) but when you put it in gear it goes away. Does not affect the drivability at all. Just thought I would mention it as I try to tell anyone about the cars they buy from me all I know about them. Has the jack and accessories and will put a spare tire in the trunk. Just a good straight car that you can take your family in to the cruise nights and wont break the bank as far as price.
