1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Twin Turbo Manual ~ Rare Jamaican Blue!
A very rare color Twin Turbo VR-4 car with a manual 5 speed- only 124 Jamaican Blue ones were made, and in 1991 only. Today only a couple are known besides this one. Also has rare optional cloth interior, no sweating in the summer! Car is loaded- Power windows, power seat, A/C, Active Aero, AWD, 4 Wheel Steering, Flip Up Headlights, 17" Chrome Wheels etc. Clean title, no reported accidents or salvage.

A pretty decent project car that runs and drives. Body is super clean, no rust, some dings and fairly minor issues, does still have some original paint. Body has 141k, engine was rebuilt 300 miles ago and car has lots of new parts ~ here is info from previous owner and his receipts:

New: Single pass radiator, hoses, water pump, oil pump, Kevlar timing belt, solid timing tensioner, pulleys and crank pulley, forged OEM crank, Ninja Performance rods, 99 lifters, 92 MM Wiseco pistons, gaskets, new valve stems/seals; heads resurfaced and tested, block hot tanked and bored .40, Stage 3 stock turbos, HKS intake alternator, battery, clutch/throw out bearing/flywheel.
Estimated 600 hp.

Needs some work yet, we replaced the MAF, LH intercooler and fixed a bunch turbo leaks, and it has good boost. Upgraded BOV (blow off valve) sounds really cool. Has 17" upgradedchrome GT3000 wheels, and tires have good tread. Has mechanism for front dam but dam itself is missing. Stereo is out, have a factory one but haven't checked it, or if it requires codes (we don't have them if so). Factory oil pressure gauge doesn't work (but car does have good oil pressure, we checked). Has some coolant overflow into the reservoir.

Current NADA values at $12k-18k, and this one is insured for $15k by our collector's insurance co. We also have a Supra that we're working on, and having 2 projects at once is too many.Nice project for someone that has any mechanical ability.
