1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Additional Info:
I purchased this VR4 in December of 2016 and it currently has 33,938 miles. This gem is an unrestored survivor that hasn't been abused, mechanically modified, still has its original factory paint as well as its original born with twin turbo drivetrain. In fact, when I got it it still had its original tires! It also sports an extremely rare color (Jamaican Blue Metallic). As you can see via the link below, only 129 VR4s were made in this color for only one production year (1991). After 1991 this color was discontinued. I have spent a lot of time around the VR4s and I have never seen another in this color in person (which is a gorgeous blue turquoise in sunlight).

This particular VR4 is the smoothest running/driving VR4 I have ever owned, driven or ridden in. Everything works on the car and it is as close to mechanically back to new as any VR4 in existence imo. I have an extra set of keys, paperwork of all maintenance I performed as well as the OEM owners manual. Soon after I got it, for safety sake I replaced the timing belt, put on new brakes and the (OEM!) tires. I also replaced the driver side window motor, flushed the cooling system, changed all other fluids, etc. The car is unbelievably smooth and runs incredibly well. No error codes or lights. Everything works like it should. Not a drop of oil underneath. The car needs nothing. It has the optional single CD player (that still works) and still has the original stereo and original 4 speaker set up. AC blows cold and heat works as it should. All power works too and all gauges perform as normal.
If you got this far, it's very likely you know how incredible these cars were originally and still are today. With an advanced twin turbo V6, AWD, AWS (steering), active aerodynamics (front and back), active suspension, active exhaust, anti-lock brakes, driver airbag and CD, the 3000GT VR4 was a decade or more ahead of its time. As you probably realize, it's exceedingly rare to find a VR4 that has been untouched like this with super low miles, low ownership (I am #3) with no modifications and this mechanically sound. As I already mentioned, everything works as it should. The interior (front and back) look like new. The Jamaican Blue paint is OEM factory, which after 29 years is obviously not showroom new but it still shows very nicely with only a few noticeable imperfections and minor scratches in a few areas.
As you can see from this listing the AutoCheck shows that the car is as clean as a whistle and has no stories, with no accidents, the miles verifying, etc.
As for price, hopefully an open discussion here makes things easier for all of those who are seriously interested. I think the car is worth every penny of my ask. I spent YEARS looking and I can tell you first hand it's near impossible to find one of these in this condition (unmodified, unmolested) with low verified miles close to what I have (33K). Add in this crazy rare, beautiful color and it officially becomes near impossible. That said, I will negotiate on price...somewhat. If you are a real buyer make me a non-insulting, credible offer and let's see if we can come to a number that we can both live with. I don't need to sell so I ask that you don't waste your time and mine. Low ball offers will be immediately rejected by eBay's automated system.
You can buy with confidence. I have been an ebay member since 1999 and have had -zero- negative feedback covering all of those 21 years.
