1965 Mini Classic Mini Mk 1 Additional Info:

Very original 1965 Super Deluxe Sedan. RHD. New Zealand to California car, with no rust. Older frame off restoration that was done well. Car is complete and VERY original to MK1 spec. Has a Heritage certificate.
Body:
Unaltered MK1 body. External hinges, sliding windows, etc. No prior custom fitting/cutting/etc. that you commonly see with this vintage.
Paint is older respray from English White to Tartan Red. Looks decent, but not concours. Chrome is all original spec and correct. In great shape. No rust at all in the trunk, floor, roof channels. Light bubbling in one spot on the passenger door.
Comes with 2 sets of tires and wheels. Currently shod in the original steels with chrome hubcaps, but also has a set of "Mini Lights" as well.
Interior:
Original interior is clean and in decent shape. Tartan Red with black carpets. 3 instrument binnacle. Fully restored original MK1-2 Smith's Heater. Original headliner, starting to yellow, but I can't bear to change it because it's so original. All the rare MK1 bits, like the turn indicator stalk light, are there and working.
Mechanicals:
Rebuilt engine runs like a top. Recently rebuilt the SU carb and installed Pertronix electronic ignition. New fresh air heater duct from the grille to the firewall. New heater control valve. Recently rebuilt brake master cylinder. Magic wand shifter. Rubber cone suspension.
Brand new minimania radiator and bottom hose.New tires.
This is a very rare completely original MK1. A really neat car. There aren't many left from that era, and you just don't see many that haven't been modified. This is a great driver that would make a great addition to a collection.
