1965 Mini Cooper Additional Info:

Super rare 970cc Morris Cooper S, one of only 963 built. Needs complete restoration, very valuable. Bought used 1969, drove until 1976, stored in garages ever since. Repainted original Old English White/Black roof in 1971, paint job didn't stick, stripped most areas and primed. Entire body solid, never damaged, no bondo, only some surface rust which sands right off to clean bare metal. Engine is installed with trans, complete. Serial # 9F SAX 29897. Only changes I made were newer MKII tail lights (included are metal inserts to bring back top MKI specs), also added second RH gas tank. All original items (lights, bumpers, interior) that were taken off are in boxes (both MKI and II tail lights). Interior removed (seats, dash, door panels, headliner) and included but need to be redone. I bought the entire Newton Commercial Interior Package which includes everything you will need in original colors per British Heritage Certificate which I have, Tartan Red/Grey - paid $4000 - sold separately $2500 to buyer, all you will need for original restoration - seat covers, dash, door panels, headliner, carpet, boot. I have records of what was done from 1969-1976. New head/valves circa 1974. Included are original wheels and old tires. 4 speed manual. Amazing body condition, sandblast/prime/paint. Check history of sales for rare 970cc restored cars - $65-85,000! All original glass including sliding front windows. Couple boxes of spare parts included, new heater. Currently on rollers (included), brakes are frozen. Has front discs, shoes in rear. Again, most important, body is solid, no rust through except for the battery box, which is easy to replace. Call or email with any additional questions. My title says 1966 but serial numbers per British Heritage Certif says 1965 970cc per body and engine. Mini originally bought in France, Speedo is in KM (93,599). Super rare find, not many of this model still around. I was planning to do complete resto myself, but moving and ran out of time.
