1979 MG Midget Special

The 1979 MG Midget "Special T" is a small two-seater lightweight sports car produced by MG from 1961 to 1979. Built with a tan interior, carmine red exterior, black vinyl convertible top and a 4 cylinder, 1.5L engine, paired with a manual 4-speed transmission.

As a "Special" it included an AM/FM Radio, Luggage rack, wheel trim rings and the big T shaped stripe on the side for the USA market. At the top, front of the rear wheel arch, the T was broken to include the word "Special"

It has a partial service history, as records are available from 1989-1998 and then again from 2022 to present, available upon request. The Midget has a clean vehicle title and comes with the original owner's manual!

ITEMS TO NOTE:

• The car *may* need a new alternator as the light comes on but there have been no noticeable battery draw/starting issues.

• The horn button does not work, I believe this is a simple wiring issue as it worked with the original steering wheel.

Includes a box of extra/replacement/original parts.

Overall this car is in excellent shape for its age and is a great cruiser on beautiful days with the top down!
