1976 MG MGB Additional Info:
1976 MG . The second and 3rd picture show it in my friends grandfathers barn just last week .The car has been pulled out and washed and vacuum out . New battery was installed and the MG fired right up .The car was bought brand new here in Charlotte NC at Britain INC and the last pic shows the actual window sticker from 1976 and original bill of sale. All of the other pics shown were taken 11-21-2016 . I am no MG expert at all but will try to answer your questions the best I can .The car is a 4 cy, 4 spd manual . The interior is clean for the year and appears to me to have the original AM/FM radio which works just fine .The body is in great shape as well as the paint .The top looks close to new .The car is not all rusted up at al, one of the pics shows the underneath which looks great .The tires are also in very good shape .The car overall looks very nice inside and out especially for a 1976 .I have driven the car and the gears and brakes work just fine .the emergency brake works fine too. The tach and all the gauges seem to work fine . When the new battery was installed the car cranked up easily with no noise, no smoking etc..I drove the car around my neighborhood and the only issue I found was the clutch needs bled .I opened the bleeder and made it worse .I have googled bleeding the clutch on an MG and found it is not that easy .I will try to have it bled before you pick up the car .If any of you have advice on bleeding it please feel free to share that info with me .I know the clutch and all gears are fine because it drove and shifted good before I made the mistake of opening the system .I have really NO idea what this car is actually worth .I see them from 4k to 20k and cannot figure out the gap . with that said I am just going to list the car with NO reserve . Please keep in mind you are bidding to buy a car and not winning the right to come make an offe, Your bid is the price so if you need to come and see the car in person please do so BEFORE the auction ends NOT after .Deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours and the FULL balance is due with 7 days .For serious inquiries I can be reached at 704-200-7533
