Vehicle Details

Beautiful 1964 Comet Gasser. Flawless show quality paint ($10,000 invested), Straight rust free 202 body. No filler ever. Built 350 SBC, with built Reversed Pattern Manual Valve Body TH350 with Trans Brake, Ford 9 inch with 3.25 “posi”, (4.85 Mini Spool included if you decide to race it), B&M Prostick Ratchet Shifter, Tach, Shift Light, MSD ignition, Holley Double Pumper, Straight axle parallel front leaf springs, leaf rear, new driveshaft, 4 wheel disk brakes, Frame is tied, could handle about any HP you throw at it. All glass perfect, New windshield, NO Lexan, all window regulators work as should, New Procar front bucket seats, Rear seat bottom recovered to match bucket seat pattern, No wheel tubs, Stock rear fender wells, Headers with dumps and shorty mufflers. Engine and Trans have been relocated rearward about 1 foot for better weight transfer on launches, Front and Rear motor plates. Car handles very nicely, stops straight also. This car is Fully Street Driven, fully Insured and Legal in Oregon ( check your locale), NOTE: This car is set up as a Gasser Clone, it hasn’t all the frills of a stock Classic. It’s a Gasser. No wipers, no heater, no headliner, no carpets. As for the engine specs, sorry I don’t have any, as the Previous owner died, it does like high octane,  I have removed the valve covers and oil pan to peek inside. Very clean inside everything looks good. Has very good oil pressure, runs a cool 185 with the large aluminum radiator. Since I never got a chance to speak to the previous owner, I have no idea if this was built to actually race, or just look good. I see no evidence of ever having a roll bar or cage. No evidence of any burn out rubber underneath. Maybe it wasn’t finished? If buying out of state, the car can stay inside insured for up to 30 days after funds have cleared. Shipping is your responsibility but I will cooperate as much as possible to make it as easy of transaction as possible. I feel this is by far the best deal on a 60’s Gasser on eBay. My reserve is low, way below 20, so bid to win. Thanks Bob.
