1964 Comet 202. Show Quality paint. No Rust Body. Straight and Dent free. This car may have been a strip car at one time. I really don’t know. Has no roll cage installed and no traces of one being removed, so I don’t know for sure. But, the straight front axle is one of the nicest installations I’ve come across. The Engine is a 350 SBC (was told by a friend of the deceased owner it is a Stroker, but I can’t prove that, so let that be a pleasant surprise if correct). The 350 SBC is set back about a foot for better weight transfer, mounted with front and rear motor plates. Trans is a TH350 reverse manual valve body with trans brake. Ford 9 inch rear with 3.25 “posi” 3rd member. (Original 4.85 mini spool that was in the car when I bought it, included), B&M Pro Stick ratchet shifter, Aluminum Radiator, (runs a cool 185-190), MSD ignition, Shift light, and Tach, Heat wrapped Headers, with Dumps and Shorty Mufflers, (it’s Harley Davidson loud, but legal here in Oregon). All glass perfect, (even windshield, as it was recently installed before I bought it) All window regulators work, all side glass, no Lexan. Brand New BFG TA’s on rear, on 8 inch steelies, like new tires on front on Ansen Mags, 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, New Pro Car front Bucket Seats, stock bench in rear, NO wheel tubs. Fuel Cell, Electric fuel pump, Optima Battery, new3/22, Rear shut off switch ( I moved it to inside the trunk since I don’t race), Has tied frame, very nice job, can handle about any HP you could throw at it. Had old school Leaf, Ladder bar setup. (I removed the 5 ft ladder bars, but kept the mounts intact, ladder bars come with the sale if wanted). All exterior lights work. The car runs strong, goes straight, stops good, and shifts like a manual trans, since the trans is set up that way. Has Clean Oregon title in my name. This car is streetable as is, but would take very little to see the strip. I bought intending to drastically de-tune it for the street, but now it seems a shame to undo the hard work already put into it by the previous owner. And, since the wife hates riding in it… I will look for something tamer. If buying out of state, I will work with the buyer, the car can stay inside, insured, safe, for up to 30 days after full payment has been received and cleared. Insurance will be dropped when car is picked up. (It’s then the buyers full responsibility) A deposit of $2000 within 48 hours is required, by wire transfer. If you don’t agree to this payment setup please don’t purchase. Questions?269-223-2763Robert
