1969 Mercury Montego MX Additional Info:
This is a true survivor from 1969. Mercury Montego MX, this car is from what i can find on it a 5 owner car myself being the 5th owner. It has some minor dings and scratches the paint is dull I have tried to bring it back but it is dull and oxidized. This is a true California car from what i can tell rust free. It was bumped in the front passenger side fender and it dented the trim and fender. I have a new trim piece. It was also bumped in the rear bumper driver side and slightly pushed in. It needs a new headliner (included)It also needs a heater core (included new). The interior is in pretty good shape it does need headliner (new one included) and the front seat recovered. It has an old after market stereo with cassette( i have the original radio). I have some extra parts that come with the car. I believe this is a second paint job. It has the original trunk pad and jack, the original hub caps on the car and I have the rare dog dish caps and trim rings from 1969. Here are the things that have been done New Radiator New fuel pump New water pump New Thermostat New belts and hoses Power Steering rebuilt A/C rebuilt and blows cold Carburetor rebuilt Air Cleaner restored New Petronics Ignition New Battery New coil New distributor New plugs and wires Transmission gone through and adjusted Things it still needs Front seat recovered Headliner installed Heater core installed Could use new carpet Paint job if you want it to look really good ( or leave it as original) Front end alignment Speedometer looked at it jumps when driving Window seals on both widows back trim piece they slide into. This is the best description i can give i may have missed a couple small things but please email me if you have questions. I am adding a few pictures if you want more just ask and i will send them to you. Please be serious and Please ask your wife or significant other before bidding. I am a car guy I know how rare this car is I have the full Marti report on it and I know you will not see very many around this is the only one that i have seen in a 2 door hardtop around the So Cal area.
