up for sale is my 1969 mercury montego mx 2-door hardtop. 78,XXX original miles, i am second owner of the car, had a single repaint in its original meadowlark yellow over 20 years ago on a 100% life-long rust-free body.. original interior, except new carpet and headliner.beautiful bumpers and trim, factory original 302-2V, C4 automatic. has new full aluminized dual exhaust with 40-series flowmaster mufflers. recent brakes and shocks. has power steering and manual drum brakes. car is a factory a/c car, i have compressor to reinstall. DOES NOT COME WITH THE TORQUE-THRUST WHEELS. come with the factory styled steel wheels(shown in last pic) with like new white letter radials. car is in as close to showroom condition, absolutely gorgeous, and a wonderful running/driving car. no issues, everything works. paint and trim are amazing. no car is perfect,but, this mercury is close. drive and show.
also interested in trades, 66-74 PLYMOUTH/DODGE/MOPAR B-body or 70-72 BUICK SKYLARK/GS in comparable condition. if its a higher value car, needing some resto work, thats fine, but, be realistic, not trading for a basket case roadrunner, sorry. and, NO 4-doors. NOT interested in anytjing else, no need to bother or ask. thanks.
